Malachite over Chrysocolla Pseudomorph
Incredible find from the DR Congo. This piece is just incredible in person, and needs to be seen to be believed. It was once Azurite blades, that transformed into Malachite over time with an altered atmospheric pressure and CO2 concentration. Chrysocolla then formed over these blades, once this was finished, a layer of quartz then coated the whole piece. As a finale, the piece got additions of mini Malachite flowers growing over the top of a sparkly Malachite layer. Outstanding piece, and lit correctly, will be a truly spectacular show piece due to its overly sparkly nature
